| Envisioning Your Future (EYF) is a program provided
to students in the Elmira City School District. Through involvement
with EYF, students gain the self-confidence and skills necessary
to be successful in the 21st century. |

| Students begin their involvement with EYF by attending an
overnight retreat on a college campus. While on campus, students
have the opportunity to experience college life while they begin
to look at their goals for the future. |

| Enrichment activities are conducted throughout the year.
In the past, these have included a behind the scenes tour of
the Burnett Park Zoo in Syracuse; community service projects
at the local SPCA, food bank and homeless shelter; a visit to
the AIDS Quilt, and a weekend trip to Washington D.C. |

| All activities are free to
participants! |
| |
| The Envisioning Your Future Program follows participants
throughout their high school career. Returning students work
with new recruits, sharing their experiences as members of the
program. Mentoring opportunities are also provided. |
